Dr. Nicole Steinmetz and Dr. Jon Pokorski labs have developed fridge-free COVID-19 vaccines that are grown in plants and bacteria. In preclinical studies, the vaccine candidates demonstrated to be effective as a single dose and could be self administered as a patch.
