AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

I built and maintain the website, post seminars, announcements, events and other NanoEngineering news. I also update existing portions of the website as new information is available.

Personal Interests

I am currently a 3rd-year bioengineering:biotech student at UCSD. I have been involved in science research since I was in 7th grade, when I conducted my first science fair experiment under the supervision of Dr. Pan Zheng (now at UM at Ann Arbor) in her Pathology lab at the Ohio State University. I was accepted to the Amgen Scholars Program last spring and spent my summer at UCSF in a synthetic biology lab. Biological problems fascinate me, and I plan on pursuing a career in science research. I hope to someday teach as a professor in a university like this one.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking. I particularly like making/designing foods with high visual impact for parties and special events. I particularly like working with chocolate, and have made several different kinds of chocolate truffles in the past (dark chocolate espresso turned out the best).
