Team Develops Multifunctional 3D Stretchable Electronics

NanoEngineering professor, Sheng Xu, has lead a team in developing a stretchable electronic patch that can be used to perform a variety of wireless activity. This patch, which can be worn on the skin, is referred to as a "smart bandage" because of its ability to monitor brain signals, eyeball movements, muscle activity, and even control a robotic arm while maintaining its small size. The work is published in Nature Electronics.
