On Friday, May 22, the Department of NanoEngineering held their 2nd annual NanoXpo. This event is a great platform for graduate students to showcase their research in front of faculty, industry representatives, and fellow students. Each year, the Department awards the top three best posters.
Here are the 2018 Poster Presentation winners:
- 1st place: Yao Jiang, NANO Ph.D. Student (Zhang Research Group). Poster Presentation on: Cancer Cell Membrane-Coated Nanoparticles for Anticancer Vaccination
- 2nd place: Irem Ustunol, NANO Ph.D. Student (Grassian Research Group). Poster Presentation on: Understanding Nano-Bio Interactions for Human Health from Different Perspectives
- 3rd place: Hui Zheng, NANO Ph.D. Student (Materials Virtual Lab). Poster Presentation on: Role of Zr In Strengthening Mosi2 Grain Boundaries from DFT Calculations
