NanoEngineering Department News

The newest book by Dr. Vlado A. Lubarda, Senior Lecturer of NE and Adjunct Professor of MAE, entitled Topics in Solid Mechanics: Elasticity, Plasticity, Damage, Nano and Biomechanics (450 pages), has been published by the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts in its monograph series. This book was printed by the Obod Press from Montenegro, which printed its first book Oktoih (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oktoih) in 1494, only 44 years after Guthenberg’s invention of the printing press in 1450 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Printing_press). This is the fourth book written by Professor Lubarda. His previous books include Strength of Materials (University of Montenegro Press, 1985), Elastoplasticity Theory (CRC Press, 2002), and Mechanics of Solids and Materials (Cambridge University Press, 2006, with R.J. Asaro).
